We are pleased to announce the election of, and honored by the addition of, four new directors to the board of the Mockingbird Foundation:
- John Demeter is an employee of the Vermont Department of Taxes; a member of the Phish.net site (management and planning) team; and a long-time, high-frequency participant in the Phish.net forums, where he has provided guidance, structure, user support, conflict management, and other volunteer services for nearly six years.
- Phil Harrison works professionally in commercial loans and finance; volunteers extensively with a number of nonprofits, including sitting on the boards of a wide range of organizations; and is an active member of several Phish.net teams, including the Jam Chart crew.
- Scott Marks works in customer support and upgrades testing for a large insurance company, and has been involved in nearly every aspect of Phish.net content, including setlists, jam charts, song histories, and the teases table, of which he is the chief engineer.
- Matt Sexauer is a longtime public school music educator responsible for building programs to success and honors, who has extensive related experience working with grantmaking organizations.
Each now begins a three-year term, through 2018. Further details about these and other board members, both current and emeritus, is available at mbird.org/about/board.
