The second Phamily Poker Classic is ON, right now, at Harvey’s Resort and Casino. To celebrate, we’re auctioning off nine (9) numbered and signed posters from the original event, last Halloween in Atlantic City.
These are beautiful 11×17 digital prints on 100lb felted cover, all hand drawn and hand done type, signed by fabulous artist Erin Cadigan, featuring a mockingbird dealing four Aces representing Phish’s instruments, while the Phamily watches from the background, and a whirl pool of fish bones and eyeballs swirls about.
Prints numbered 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, and 19 being auctioned one at a time, starting with the lowest number (10). Each auction runs 3 days, followed immediately by the subsequent auction for the next number.
ALL proceeds go directly to the Mockingbird Foundation, an all-volunteer, Phan-run non-profit that funds music education for children.
Bidding for print #10 begins… now!

10 Minute Tube Designs continues to release new pins, with each first being offered on Ebay with a percentage of the purchase going directly to the Mockingbird Foundation, through Ebay’s MissionFish giving program. The newest batch includes references to Cavern and Scent of a Mule, and bidding ends on Friday, June 24th.
Phanart is auctioning a “Whalecaller” hoodie (hooded sweatshirt), with every penny benefitting the Mockingbird Foundation. The auction ends Friday, October 1st.
Greg Brenner’s original Gamehendge Series art is being auctioned by PhanArt via Ebay to benefit the Mockingbird Foundation – and there are no bids so far. Get ‘em cheap, and support music education in the process! The auction ends September 23rd at 5pm PDT.
We echo PhanArt’s thanks to the seven artists who donated wares during the summer tour for auctions to benefit the Mockingbird Foundation.
Foundation Announces Auction, including Four Vegas Tickets
Offers tax deduction “if you help us help the kids”
[Maryland Heights, MO; Saratoga Springs, NY] – On Thursday, January 30, the Mockingbird Foundation announced its first charity auction, a fifteen-item package featuring four phish tickets. To allow the winner time to make travel plans, bidding will last for only one week, and will close on February 5th. The auction is being hosted by the Mimi Fishman Foundation, and is available via www.mimifishman.org/whatsnew.html.
“The elements of this package were donated as our most recent funding window is drawing to a close,” said Ellis Godard, Executive Director of the Mockingbird Foundation. “Every day, we’re hearing about more programs whose funding was cut, more classes without instruments, and more innovative ideas for teaching music to kids. This auction makes a very real difference in how many groups we can help in March.”
The biddable package includes two tickets to each night (Feb 15 and 16) of Phish’s upcoming shows at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, as well as two aftershow passes for the first night. It also includes a Mockingbird Foundation T-shirt, the 928-page all-volunteer encyclopedia The Phish Companion, and the best-selling double-disc tribute album Sharin’ in the Groove, plus two Foundation stickers, two Foundation magnets, and two Foundation bookmarks.
The Mockingbird Foundation was incorporated in 1997 to generate charitable proceeds from Phish fandom. It donates proceeds from a book, album, and related events to music education for children. The Mimi Fishman Foundation was created in 1999 to generate proceeds for charity. It donates proceeds from auctions and events to a variety of causes including glaucoma, cystic fibrosis, and YMCA summer camps.
Both organizations are all-volunteer, all-for-charity nonprofit grantmaking entities created by Phish fans and operating primarily in cyberspace. Neither has any salaries, paid staff, office, or assets other than what is licensed and disbursed. For more information, please visit www.mockingbirdfoundation.org and www.mimifishman.org.
